Champions Against Bullying

Accessibility Statement

Champions Against Bullying is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard navigation.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. Conformance is an ongoing effort, and we cannot guarantee that every page is free of every possible issue at all times.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML with clear headings and landmark regions.
  • A "Skip to content" link and full keyboard operability.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators throughout.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast for text.
  • Layouts that reflow and remain usable when text is enlarged or the screen is small.
  • Respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" setting.
  • Labeled form fields with clear error messages.

How we maintain accessibility

We review the site for accessibility periodically as part of our internal process, and we consider accessibility when we add or change content. We have not engaged a third-party accessibility auditor; our reviews are conducted internally.

Known limitations

Some features rely on third-party services — for example, online scheduling, payment and donation processing, embedded video, and website analytics. These are provided by outside companies, and we do not fully control their accessibility. Where a reasonable alternative exists (such as contacting us by email or phone), we try to provide one.

Tell us about a problem
